Karachi: Two cases of corona virus have been reported in Pakistan, the Prime Minister's Assistant Special Health Minister Dr Zafar Mirza confirmed on Wednesday.
"I can confirm the first two cases of the Corona virus in Pakistan. According to the Clinical Standard Protocol, both cases are being looked after and both are stable." Dr Mirza wrote on Twitter.
Another patient identified in Islamabad and was shifted to Quarantine at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences.
Addressing a press conference shortly after the Corona virus was first reported, SAPM Dr. Mirza spoke of medical ethics and emphasized "not shared the patient information."
"I urge you not to spread this information even if you know it," he said. However, he confirmed that there was a case reported in each of Sindh and Islamabad.
